The Operator of the Vilnius City Innovation Industrial Park, VšĮ „Northtown Vilnius“, is announcing an open competition from 22 September 2025 for investors wishing to establish at the VCIIP technology development centre HUBIO. HUBIO offers modern and functional premises for life sciences companies (more than 7,000 sq. m.) surrounded by nature, within a community of business leaders and in the vicinity of universities. Potential investors are invited to learn about the building, the premises available for lease and the advantages of HUBIO on the technology development centre’s website www.hubio.lt.

Who can lease HUBIO premises?

Innovative companies carrying out biotechnology research and applied activities will be able to establish at HUBIO. The key selection criterion for investors is a commitment to carry out manufacturing and/or biotechnology research and applied activities (medical (red) biotechnology only) on the HUBIO premises.

How will investors be selected?

A potential investor applying to lease premises at HUBIO must prepare and submit to VšĮ „Northtown Vilnius“ an Investor application (Annex No. 1 to the Procedure) together with the accompanying documents: the articles of association, a certified electronic extract from the Register of Legal Entities no older than 3 (three) months, a scheme of the investor’s related companies up to the ultimate beneficial owner, a joint certificate from the Centre of Registers issued no later than 30 days before the application submission date, and others. All documents, signed by the manager or an authorised person with a certified electronic signature, must be submitted by the potential investor in a single package by email to [email protected].

Important additional information: Construction of HUBIO is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. Please note that investors will have the opportunity to adapt the selected HUBIO premises to their laboratory and production activities according to the specific nature of their operations.
